HEY....I'm back. Yeah I know, I haven't blogged in awhile. Just had nothing to say. But you know, even when you have nothing to say, the brain is still kicking and screaming. So I have a few months of catching up to do...which I am too lazy to do, so this blog is only going forward, not backwards.

I've been on a hard drinking absinth binge lately that has left me with pains in the liver, but don't worry, no ear hacking yet. I actually just stopped drinking for awhile because of my absinth experiences. Last Saturday I went to Queens and drank serious amounts with individuals who will remain nameless. Let's just say it was out of this world, especially when I found myself ironically in Chek/Polish bar where if it were legal, Chek bohemians would have been drinking out of the traditional sipping pipe.
Besides this, I have been playing lots of playstation, making losts of music and avoiding trouble at all costs. I've been bringing my dog down to the beach alot lately, fighting the cold just to see him run. For a seven year-old mutt, he still has a beautiful, healthy stride and can outrun Bibby's two purebred labs.
Our kitten is crazy and our old cat is starting to loose control of her bladder, or she is spraying because of her annoyance of the kitten. Whatever the deal is, it must be reconciled.
Just started reading the Stand for the first time and boy is it long. Work right now is sort of slow so that is why I am blogging.
I recommend the bands Pelican, the new Neurosis, the Cure Box set that just came out and the newest Crystal Method.

SERIOUS SPOILER IN THE LAST POST!!! DON'T READ IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHO DIES IN HARRY POTTER!!!
:: Sunday, June 29, 2003 ::
As much as I enjoy getting emails from friends that go like this:
"if you just ruined the end of harry potter for me, i will break your fucking thumbs. i am serious." (sent to me from one very very irate Lynn Guppy)
...I realize that I really am a dick. So that is why I am adding the spoiler claim above.
So seriously folks, read at your own risk...

Eating a bento box right now and the california roll is the freshest I've ever had. I'm in my new digs now, relocated downtown on Wall Street and on a new shift, working with people I really like. People who I can count on and rely on for help and advice. That makes such a difference in the working environment. I will miss working overnights, but already within two days of evenings, I can feel my body adjusting. Amazing how bodies are so tuned into environmental factors. After a couple of weeks doing this new shift, I will feel like a new man.

Speaking of man, I hosted a bachelor party this past saturday at my house. Good times, that's all I can say in fear of incriminating the bachelor any further than he already is. We did go paintballing during the day though, and I still have the wounds to prove it. Paintball wounds are always signs of a good time. Shoot, gotta go. Write more later,

Damn, I hate being sick. For the last 4 days I've been producing enough snot to start a snot factory. Been coughing, sneezing, sniffling, drooling, going crazy watching bad horror movies. I missed two days of work, but it wasn't worth it because I was miserable. Still am, but had to get the hell off my couch. Even work is better than being at home, staring at the walls after awhile. These are the things I watched all weekend/week:
:: Thursday, May 29, 2003 ::
Lord of the Flies (Remake)
Planet of the Apes
Friday the 13 The Final Chapter
Menace II Society
Juliane Donkey Boy
Sponge Bob Square Pants marathon
Austin Powers II (don't know why I watched this one, couldn't find the remote?)
lots of Real TV (The best show ever - Long Live Amad Rashad)
The Blind Swordsman
Lots of Speed TV
Sturgeous Biker Rally on Travel TV

I wear a tie to work for the first time in many moons and my coworkers are acting really weird around me. Maybe they think I know something they don't, like today was the "come to work wearing a tie and you don't get laid off day". Everybody is a little sketched out. How can one man's tie throw off the cosmic balance of an overnight shift. Of course I got asked the classic "Do you have an interview" question. I guess the sight of a grown skate punk wearing a red Van Huesen tie is just too much for some people.
Nope, no interviews, no promotion, no brown nosing...just wanted to look like a nicely dressed man for once. Besides, I like wearing ties. I finally lost enough weight that I can wear dress shirts tucked in and look good and solid. I can still shed some more pounds, but at least I am getting past certain obstacles that stood in my way, basically curbing my appetite and not stuffing my face. Now if I can just take out Willie Wonka, I would be set. Mmmm....gobstoppers.
The weekend is approaching and once again, they call for rain. Blah!!!! I'm sticking my pierced tongue out right now at the sky!!!
Oh yeah, I updated the links with homestarrunner!!! Long Live Strong Bad!!!
